LESBOS, Mytilene. Æ (34mm, 18.42 g). Countermark applied early 3rd century AD. Terminal figure of Dionysos right on prow within oval countermark on a bronze of Commodus from Lesbos. Howgego 249. Dark green patina with touches of red, some tan highlights. Host Near Fine, c/m Near VF.
